I've heard it both ways

In my experience, every calling comes with an intrinsic proof of Lehi's observation: there must needs be opposition in all things.

The way things are

This is more true than you might think!

I've heard it both ways

The same thing holds true for the Gospel Doctrine class as well!

We are as the Army of Helaman

OK, so the scriptures never say that Helaman's sons fought like dragons (that metaphor was used for the Lamanites), but they were pretty fierce in the heat of the battle. Just like Primary.

Conflicted

Do you ever get that feeling, when you just know you're going to get a certain calling?

And why are they not chosen?

In my experience, if you make sure the Relief Society and the Primary are happy, then the rest of the ward seems to take care of itself!

That Primary split

It takes a special kind of person to work in Primary!

On being resourceful

I get a kick out of how many of these gags are based on real life experiences!
