My son and I were visiting a ward in Utah County that met in an old building that had gone through several renovations. It took us almost half of sacrament meeting to find the bathrooms -- they were tucked away in a tiny corridor. It didn't help that he was in a hurry!
Even back then there were people who didn't want to sit and listen to all the conference addresses. They'd rather read it at their leisure. The problem with that, though, is you miss out on all the live action stuff, like the gasps at last October's temple announcements. Plus raising your hand for the sustainings and saying amen to the prayers by yourself is, well, just a little weird.
I've been cartooning since I was a teenager, and have been published in magazines ranging from AASHTO Quarterly to the New Era and several other periodicals, trade publications and newsletters.
